Are AirPod Pros Really Worth Hyping? | Gadget theory
As expected, with each new Apple release, it’s just a matter of time until the latest version of the gadget comes out, apparently as a new and improved version and almost always with a higher price. Such was the case with Apple’s AirPods earphones, as there is now an AirPods Pro option. So you have to pay the extra $ 80 to the pros? Here’s what we think.

Is the AirPods Pro worth it?
The original AirPods do not seal the ear canal, so Apple took note and changed it for the AirPods Pro, even adding active noise reduction. That already makes the AirPods Pro light years ahead of the original model.
People who should be jumping for the pros are iPhone users who really want a hassle-free wireless earplug experience, especially for those with the latest generation of iPhones. People who really love the wireless experience will also enjoy the benefits as the active noise reduction in other brands’ wireless earphones is not a common feature.
Exercise enthusiasts will also love these new pods as they really and truly stay in your ears. The time is over where a sweaty workout session causes your AirPods to slip out of your ears and slide across the gym. The extra sweat resistance is also a big plus.

These also pair excellently with the iPhone and Android
AirPods Pro comes with earbuds in different sizes, so you can choose the ones that best suit your ear. This is crucial as ear tips that are too small can fall out and earplugs that are too large can become painful.
As is often the case with Apple products, there are not many setup steps, and you can pretty much start using them shortly after unpacking and pairing them with your phone. It’s super easy to pair them to an iOS device, as a small popup will pop up asking you to “connect”. That is it.
To connect to an Android or Windows PC, press and hold the button on the back of the case to enter Bluetooth pairing mode and find your device. Once you have paired the bellows, you are ready to go. You lose a few features like automatic pause detection when you remove an AirPod, however. active noise reduction still works thankfully.

Some other useful features include transparency mode, which allows you to filter out outside noise when you do not want to miss your stop or you want to join a conversation quickly.
So the bottom line: are they worth it or not? If you are considering buying AirPods, especially if you have an iPhone, then AirPods Pro is the ultimate choice. They will sound much better than the originals, but they also offer much more. They cost more than the original, but you get many features for the extra money.
If you’re looking for alternatives to the original AirPods — many people have an aversion to Apple products — then some other options include the Sony WF-1000XM4, Beats Powerbeats Pro, Jabra Elite 85t, and Amazon Echo Buds (2nd generation).
